There's other cash rich building society suitors for them. There's also Shawbrook and Metro potentially up for grabs.[Deleted User] said:
The only one left to take them over or merge with is TSB.jameseonline said:I'm just wondering if CO Operative Bank's strategic plan is Coventry taking over tbh.
If not what could it possibly be?
Unless they did a ménage à trois with Nationwide and VM.

Maybe they should be moving these staff to their call centres - the worst hold times I’ve come across from UK banks! Hopefully, they’d be a bit more friendly too!0

I'd like it if they had options like "press 1 for an emergency" "press 2 to do something you can do yourself online but are choosing to do it on the phone" and route anyone who needs 2 who presses 1 back to queue 2pridehappy said:Maybe they should be moving these staff to their call centres - the worst hold times I’ve come across from UK banks! People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
