When to transfer Cash ISA?

Hi, my current ISA matures April 1st. I want to move to a new ISA with a better rate. When should I initiate the transfer?

Do it now?
Wait until after April 1st
Wait until after April 6th?

I would start it now being sure to tick the box on the transfer form that says to wait until it matures. With a transfer it matters not whether it's in this tax year or the next. Of course if you think the rates are about to go up, then wait. I haven't waited.
