ISA Stocks and Shares / Cash ISA in different providers?

Options
Hi guys!

My Dad has some Stocks and Shares ISA in a provider who doesn't provide Cash ISA facility (only Stocks and Shares ISA), but now he wants to open Cash ISA as well. Can he open Cash ISA at different provider?

Many thanks!

Just to be clear, there haven't been any limitations on opening ISAs, but there is currently a restriction only allowing paying new money into one of each type per tax year - this still allows a cash ISA to be funded in the same tax year as a S&S ISA, but in any case this restriction is lifted at the end of next week, after which any combination of ISAs can be funded, subject only to the overall £20K annual allowance (and any product-specific terms).
