MSE Reclaim Tool

Options
My partner signed up for the reclaim tool a few months ago and just got a reminder email to sign up with 1 of 3 law firms? I just wanted to make sure this is correct as i thought it would be like the PPI where its just pings the email across and you do it your self. The fees for each of the law places are 33% + vat or 40% + Vat

Any advice on where i go next?

She hasn't used the MSE reclaim template.  She has been scammed.

MSE does not refer to or involve any ambulance chasers.

MSE launched their tool 7th Feb 2024. If you did it "a few months ago" you have been scammed and you should try and read the terms you signed up to carefully to see if you can withdraw and if so, what it might cost

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    Thanks both

I did ask her to check her emails and there is one reply from blackhorse saying we have a high volume of emails please wait like on some of the other threads. So i wonder if this is one she signed up to on her own as i sent her the link for the MSE one when it came out. Maybe just best to ignore them as she never signed the docs they sent over for it
