hello, so I sent the template given via here to my car finance and I have received this response today.. see attached. I will he honest, I have no clue how to react. Do I just take their word on it? is this a standard te.plate response? as no one has actually put their name to it nor have they acknowledged my name, only my car registration. Any advice is greatly received. x

Remember, most dealers didn't use this.
They don't have to give their name or acknowledge yours (it's more likely that the template you used didn't match with their template response, and the field is missing). If they have any sense, they will just send a blanket response like this to everyone as a means to reduce costs. Unfortunately, encouraging people to send in try-it-on complaints rather than wait until after the FCA has conducted its review is creating significant costs and you cannot blame firms that did not operate DCA for looking at ways to get rid of them quickly.

What would be incorrect?
You asked if they used DCA, they confirmed they didn't - you were not mis-sold so happy days?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
