Ryanair 10kg checked in bag

Options
Are the dimensions for the 10kg bag the same whether it is carried on in to the cabin or checked into the hold? Ryanair website is a bit vague. TIA

Ts & Cs state the same dimensions for both:

8.3.2       If you paid for Priority & 2 Cabin Bags, including a Regular or Flexi Plus ticket (or a Plus ticket purchased prior to 11 December 2019), as well as the small item of carry-on baggage referred to in 8.3.1, you can also have a large piece of carry-on baggage (weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm), unless the large carry-on baggage needs to be placed in the hold for operational reasons.

8.3.3       If you have paid for a 10kg Check-In Bag (weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm), you can only take one small item of carry-on baggage on the plane. You must deposit the 10kg Check-in Bag at the bag-drop desk before you go through security. When you arrive at your destination, you will collect the bag at the baggage belt. Our regulations on checked-in luggage apply accordingly. The relevant fee is set out in our table of fees.
