Are you still not choosing your sellers with care? Although the chat from eBay is almost gibberish , it certainly doesn’t make any sense at all with the misuse of words and strange grammar.

I don’t believe I’ve had to leave any negative feedback now for several years , and I buy regularly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Is this related to your previous thread on a similar topic in some way. I'm carefull what I buy on Ebay and who from. Always have been. Very rarely had the slightest irritation even. Cannot even remember the last time I was inclined to leave negative feedback.

I've been buying and selling on EBay for 20 years and I consider leaving negative feedback a last resort after exhausting all other avenues; in fact it is rarely necessary under the current EBay regime. It not only reflects on the seller you leave negative feedback for but also on you if you do this frequently; you also need to be careful about what comments you make.3

Leaving Negative Feedback should always be a last resort...it's not confetti.
I'd be interested to know how the OP would have dealt with a real purchase issue I had this week. If the first thought is 'negative feedback', then I would suggest avoiding eBay going forward.
Purchased an item from a Seller I'd bought from previously. Cost c. £20. Item arrived on time, but I could tell there was a lot less length-wise of the item than I'd purchased before. Measured it and it was 35% short. So what would you do ?0 -

I often check out a seller's feedback when I look at buying things on eBay; if they remove negatives then they are misrepresenting their sellers information. That means the info isn't trustworthy. That said, eBay have put in place automated systems which simply don't work; I've posted reports about counterfeit items and I get replies saying they haven't broken any rules. So I've lost faith in eBay's checks and balances, as they're simply neglected. On top of that they now insist that making an offer commits you to auto-paying for all future items using that method. But I'd like to pay cash on collection or pay using another method of my choice on checkout (eg. depending on my card's statement date). And then there's their annoying messages about watched items imminently ending...Overall, eBay is now a bit of a chore to use.0

Now what would you do.
I bought an item that never arrived and the seller never replied to my message or the dispute so I left negative feedback (Item never arrived and seller never replied to messages) and ebay removed it. I got an email from ebay saying my item is being posted and and on my order detail page it shows it was dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48 but no tracking number was provided.1 -
There are plenty of sellers with negatives and I do wonder if the OP, who already has warnings, just gets their non positives removed now as soon as seller reports them.Otherwise it is as I have said on other threads, they must be the unluckiest online buyer ever to have all these issues.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have in the past, and for a limited period until I couldn't handle it any more, worked for an Ebay seller, whose entire business was based on systematic fraud (buying with multiple accounts, selling and scamming with a bunch of other accounts), yet their main selling account had 99.9% positive feedback. Today I can't even rationalise this but it has happened and I was there.

If sellers don't reply to messages then just use the INR or SNAD system. It is normally possible to leave feedback then, but never mention any ebay case or make allegations as they are grounds for removal.
