Social Tariffs for Mobile

I am trying to find a social tariff for my niece who has special needs, I know that there is an MSE page dedicated to Broadband Social Tariffs, but is there such a page for mobile providers?

If not can you please post the Social Deals/Tariffs you are aware of.

 I am only paying £7 a month with  02 at the moment on a special MSE deal and that includes more data than either of those two offers. 

The only thing she would need to be careful of is reviewing it at the end of the contract period because that’s when it’s likely to hoik up the prices.

If you tweak the filters (eg, upfront cost, data etc), you should see more options.

I checked the MSE Top pics and this Lebara with 300m limit at £2 a month appears to be cheapest

However, these are one month contracts that can be cancelled any time.


So this 12gb unlimited SIM is best at £1 a month if you have the discipline to cancel it in month 5 and look for another offer.

Registered Charities can apply for free Vodafone SIMs, each loaded with 40GB data a month for valid for only six months, plus unlimited calls and texts.

At the end of 6 months the user can discard or op for PAYG

SIMs are only supplied through charities and not distributed  to individuals.

Smarty, Voxi and EE are listed as having social tariffs by OFCOM.
