Filling out PIP claim form
Comments

Unfortunately you might have to keep trying - it's a tragic failing of disabled people that the wait for call answering is normally long and made even more difficult by the poor announcements while waiting. I think midweek may be best to call. You can start the claim by post but it might take even longer as they'll send a form you otherwise would be getting completed in the call. Initially they'll need basic information before sending out the main PIP form where you'll describe relevant disabilities in detail.Madquilter59 said:How can you get a pip form as a new claimant. I am sick of trying to ring up. Been left hanging on phone for 55 mins. 45 mins and one time an hour and a half.
Is there a best time to ring or is there another way to get a form.
By phone or post all details are here. Oh and they seem to be trialling online applications - check to see if you are in a test area by clicking the apply online button option down the page and entering postcode. https://www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim"Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1 -
Try ringing as soon as they open at 9am. The last time I rang them at this time I waited about 15 minutes for someone to answer.Madquilter59 said:How can you get a pip form as a new claimant.
