Paying into Moneybox Cash ISA - direct debit only?

Does the Moneybox Cash ISA make you set up a direct debit to pay money in? According to their help page (https://www.moneyboxapp.com/faqs/how-can-i-pay-in-2) it sounds like you can make an instant transfer from your bank, but according to this thread (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6490932/how-to-pay-in-to-my-moneybox-isa) that option wasn't available and you had to set a direct debit up.
I'm looking to open an ISA just before the end of the tax year and pay a lump sum in. Moneybox looks a good bet, but I'm worried that if I need to set up a direct debit to pay in then I may miss the tax year end (I wont have the money until the start of April so want something where I can just do a quick transfer in then).
