With a Claim Issue Date of 7th May, you have until Tuesday 28th May to file an Acknowledgment of Service.  Do not file an Acknowledgment of Service before 11th May, but otherwise there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 10th June 2024 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Yet another dodgy claim from DCBL

REASON ...... "NOT PARKED WITHIN THE LINES"
PROBLEM .... Car park spaces are out of date nowadays, especially with the BIG wagons using up all the space so often it is impossible to open your own car door
Judges no doubt have the same problem.

This is bad car park management

Then there is the DCBL famous word ... DAMAGES ???
WHAT DAMAGES .... This is dream world stuff from DCBL and a word to hide to real reason ..... Debt Collection with no mention of VAT on debt collector charges

The UKPC signs which are unreadable with small print, will not stating DAMAGES

The person who signed the claim is misleading the court which for them, is very serious

This DCBL claim is typical of their chicken out claims seen here

    Thank you
Is the date shown there the actual parking date or just the PCN posting date it was issued?

    It's important.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
