 maybe should have tried Cazoo ( not sure how they are trading at mo), I recently sold a car to Cazoo for 1.7k more than WBAC offered and they didn’t change the price when I took it to them, money in my account 15 minutes after arrival

It very much depends on what you are selling, failry new with a good market top dollar no haggling, old dents keys missing you get chipped on price.

You could have probably taken the car to 20 dealers and each one would have said not interested at the age and one key.

Reason they buy cars is selling privately can be far more of a nightmare with a lot more price chipping and threats etc etc.

A key can cost well in excess of £200 to programme and supply, which they would have had to have done. So knocking off £200 seems fair enough, even if they did know beforehand.

Your gripe is £200 off a car sale?  It's totally normal and that's before knowing what WBAC are like !!
