Financer missed the 28 day window

Options
Hi everyone

I used the Martin Lewis Reclaim car finance template to email a financer for more information. They have yet to respond within the 28-day window. It's currently day 35+.

Any advice on what, if any, next steps can be taken?

Thanks

None, all complaints are on hold until end of September

If you are particularly keen on having the DSAR fulfilled, you are welcome to go back to them and ask this to be processed per the rules but it will just get you a load of paper that isn't needed for your complaint (it won't show commission)

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Thanks @Nasqueron !
  • Hi, I was just coming in to ask the same question as the OP as I haven’t heard either. So do we just wait now until September? Will we then have to resubmit our request? TIA
