Soda bread flour makes great pizza bases, there's no hasstle with yeast or waiting on the dough to rise. Simply add milk or buttermilk to the self-raising soda bread flour and mix in a bowl until it binds together, then kneed it a little until its able to be rolled out.0

I often wondered what Soda bread flour was for (apart from the obvious - but you can make soda with normal flour, can't you? )
What quantity flour to milk/buttermilk? Must grab a bag and give it a try !A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Last time i tried i ending up sitting down to eat a lovely homemade pizza and enjoying it thoroughly, apart from the fact it ws 10pm!

I make the dough, then leave it to rise for about an hour while I prepare the toppings and heat the oven. I don;t give the base a second rising, just bung it into a hot oven - pizza in 75 mins
