Cheap Christmas cards

In the spirit of money saving, has anyone found any reduced christmas cards to put away for next year?
Tesco's seemed to have run out before christmas.

Where are the best shops to get good bargains? Boxes cards and personal ones ie nephew.

Wilkinsons have cards and gift wrap half price but not crackers. However, last year I bought some half price only to find it was 75% off the week after, so if you're brave hang on a bit!

WH Smiths might be worth a look - last year they went down to 90% off Xmas Cards, Wrap & Gift Tags, towards the end of the Sale.

Next and Marks and Spencer have half price cards and gift wrap

Picked up some at half price £2.50 for 30 in Boots yesterday. I know thats not extreamly cheap, but they are nice cards.

Been to Card Factory today. Got all my cards for the entire family - under £3.00 all in!

Always go every year and they never disappoint me. Lovely cards (already cheap at full price) and bargain at half price. Even the big, hand-made cards that were £1.99 were going at a pound. All box-sets were half price or just £1.00 for 26. Not the cheapo rubbish you get in the bargain bins neither.

There were also other reductions on paper, gift boxes & tags etc. All nice quality and Billy-bob bargains!

Did have a look in my local Wilko's but it didn't look like they were discounting their cards at all. Most perculiar....

Got a load of really nice large boxed "luxury" charity cards from Clinton's yesterday all half price, were selling out fast. £7 boxes for £3.50 etc. Not exactly cheap but lovely cards. They also had some wrap on off, but it looked like a lots was being put away for next year, so be quick!

Waitrose and Boots both have wrapping and cards, half price, 4m "luxury" wrap in Boots £1.50 rather than £3. Boxes of crackers half price, cards again in boots, gift sets etc.

watch out for the backs of Christmas cards in the sales in the supermarkets: to my horror I noticed this year that the ones I had bought reduced last January had "recycle by January 2007" on the ones from Tesco and sainsburys although non supermarket ones didn't seem to do this. Rather gives the game away: cynical old me suspects that it is a cunning plan by Mr T etc to stop us getting bargains. After all, you can recycle whenever you like, its not going to go out of sell by date!
