It looks like there was previously a dishwasher or washing machine already connected to it on the left hand side?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Is that a spare connection on the left?bobbybuttons said:Hi , my daughter's just moved out and this is the plumbing in her new place
I'm presuming the waste for washing machine is attached to the pipe on the left somehow ?
She wants to add a dishwasher what pipework do we need to add or change so the waste can use the same pipe. Thanks
From what I can see, the washing machine waste is the flexible pipe at the top and the pipe on the right is the cutlery sink drain.

The flexible pipe is the sink overflow . The pipe of the right is for the cutlery sink waste . The spare connection on the left is where her waste for washer will go when she gets her washer. We just need to know how to add a waste for her dishwasher ?0

Yes. I thought the washing machine was in place. Also my composite sink doesn't have an overflow even though there's a connection outlet underneath.EssexExile said:
