Hi , my daughter's just moved out and this is the plumbing in her new place
I'm presuming the waste for washing machine is attached to the pipe on the left somehow ?
She wants to add a dishwasher what pipework do we need to add or change so the waste can use the same pipe. Thanks

Thanks I thought that but there's another pipe coming into it from the right0

Would this work adding it somewhere to the longer bit of pipe on the right ?0

That would probably do the job, I would put it on the top of that pipe to ensure nothing can go back into the machine waste. What does that pipe do / come from ? That black tape bodge at the back doesn't look too good !I wonder if this would go in the gap left by pushing the adjustable waste fully down https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-v33s-compression-domestic-appliance-tee-piece-connector-white-40mm/4167p

Cheap and easy to use a twin spigot adapter to replace that single spigot.0

I'm not sure which way the threads etc work to join the pipes but could I insert this here where the pipe is circled red instead of the bit that's there now ? The pipe on the right I think is for the second part of the sink , I'm not there to checkmolerat said:That would probably do the job, I would put it on the top of that pipe to ensure nothing can go back into the machine waste. I wouldn't use one of these, they are very prone to blockages.bobbybuttons said:...........
