Home Energy appear to be offering 12 month fix - Economy 10 ( only fix they offer) - states smart meter only - rates are North West - same rates for electricity only.

Interesting, it's almost a similar kind of pricing structure as Octopus Cosy and one of the eco companies' past tariffs (I think it was Tide? or something like that).  Not the traditional Economy 10 but possibly a genuinely viable alternative.

The standing charge is very low too, Octopus Cosy would be 65p for me in Yorkshire.

I'm on a legacy Economy 10 with EDF working from 2 meters with off peak charging my underfloor heating [a giant storage heater] & hot water.
Unfortunately EDF have just written to tell me they will be replacing my 2 meter system with a smart meter. What does this mean for my off peak electricity? Does it mean I will be on standard variable rate 24/7 with my floor still heating mostly at night [the time is controlled by the set hours on the meter; not sensible if not for the discout rate of off peak]
Can one still get off peak with a smart meter ?

You've got your own thread, please don't go bumping other ones with the same question.
