Trading 212 easy access ISA 5.2% APY and 1% cashback. Too good to be true?

Can confirm I've just had £200 cashback from today's full deposit if anyone else is in the same boatPloughmansLunch said:I opened/activated the ISA section in early April, and got the qualification notification in the app but haven't paid anything in yet. As the T&Cs say the campaign is active for net deposits between 6th April 2024 & 5th April 2025 I assume I'll still be ok for the cashback if I wait until the flexible ISA is up and running, but does anyone know otherwise?0 -
Yes. I've the same issue regarding the "roll number" that building societies often use. I can put this in the account number field (it doesn't complain that its not 8 digits) but insists on a sort code too.10_66 said:
I've already encountered a couple of oddities with this, one quite perplexing. My first name for official documents is obviously my given name, however, I always go by a family "pet" name, quite different from my given name. I had to go on a live chat to query something, and they've picked up, somehow or other, on my pet name! I haven't mentioned it anywhere during the application process and it's not on any documents I uploaded. I'm worried now.gravel_2 said:That's the Cash ISA launched: https://www.trading212.com/isa?cash-isa=
I think I'll get my other ISA transferred over to this as I drip feed into the S&S ISA. Better rate and likely (hopefully) to continue tracking the SONIA rate.
The other issue is that I'm trying to arrange a transfer in from YBS, and they'll only permit sort code and account number, and the last time I used those (to somewhere else), the transfer in failed until I used the roll number instead. Not very promising start, as I can't get any sense out of CS.1 -
I spoke to YBS earlier, I explained what I thought was needed and what trading212 were asking for. He confirmed only to use roll number with no sort code or account number. He advised me to let them know they should be looking at TISA which, he said, is something ISA providers use to determine what information is required. I did try to pass this information on the trading212 CS, but he wasn't interest. Dunno whether to press on as you have done, or to see if anyone bothers to get back to me. Not a confident start.slinger2 said:

I'm thinking of putting the roll number in the account number field and 00-00-00 in the sort code field (hoping that it'll be ignored) and seeing what happens.10_66 said:

I guess it depends on who looks at it, I may be wrong, but I wonder if they'll just bounce that back to you as incorrect. It really is a PITA that they haven't got their system set up as an either/or, as others have.slinger2 said:

Cash ISA is now available4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.0

Cash ISA opened, and my £50 transferred (from their S&S ISA) along with it's 1p interest.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
I am looking at their new cash ISA, does anyone know if this is a actual Flexible ISA?
It states that you can withdraw money at any time without it impacting the current interest rate. But I cannot see anywhere that says you can repay any withdrawals before the start of the new tax year, so like a true flexible ISA.0 -

Your 212 ISAs are flexible. This means you can withdraw any amount and deposit it back without impacting your allowance, as long as you do it within the same tax year. The UK tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April.
For example, if you deposit £20,000 on the 6th of April 2024, you can withdraw it on the same day and deposit it back anytime you want until the 5th of April 2025. Any amount you withdraw, including previous years contributions, you can deposit back within the same tax year.

I have 5 YBS accounts. They all have sort code 609204. I would try that.slinger2 said:
