VW PCP Claim

After completing the MSE PCP form I have received two emails from VW finance for both of my claims stating they have assigned someone to look at my case (and I guess everyone else’s). They have said they will be contacting me via phone call to discuss in more detail about what my concern is, is there anything I need to say or avoid saying when or if the ring?

or is it just a case of saying I’m concerned I have been effected by hidden discretionary agreements.

You should always answer any questions honestly

DCA is black and white - if you had it, the FCA will confirm what, if any, redress is due if they consider it a problem; if you didn't then you're happy as you were not mis-sold

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You have had a generic response.    The FCA has suspended DCA complaints until after September.   However, we do know that most VW Finance agreements didn't involve DCA and that VW Finance are not waiting until September to reject complaints where DCA didn't exist.

So, very soon you are likely to get a followup without a phone call saying you didn't have it and they are closing the case or that you did have it but are deferring it as per the FCA ruling.
