New water meter fitted, bills have gone down but...

Do I have any recourse on the fact that last years bill was 600  before a new meter was fitted and now it's dropped to 300. But of pisstake by Thames water for a single bloke in a one bed flat!

     How much do you think it should be? Seems a decent reduction to me.
