Help Pls - Replacement screen for Nokia 7600 ?

Hi All,

Is it possible to buy a replacement screen for my 7600 as it is badly scratched. If so where can i get one from and would i be able to fit this myself (technically limited!) or would i need to send the phone off?

The phone barely costs 45 quid - your better off EBaying it as "barely used" and getting yourself a brand new one!

Getting it repaired will cost more than the phone, but if you REALLY wanted to fix it, I've opened the whole phone up before and the little plastic screen is indeed just that, just a piece of plastic so if your handy with the dremel you can prolly cut yourself a new one and super glue it back onto the frame.

is it the screen or the cover?
you can get copy covers on most markets for £5ish
a new screen would be about £35 inc del from ebay

screens are easy to fit to most nokias even i have done this so it must be simple!!!!
Screens brought off ebay usally come comlete with a special small screw driver.

these are a bit harder than most nokias but as long as you follow the instructions in the link you should be ok
