    Or you could just send one email to each charity once the final amount is known. Why would you give them any updates (especially if they don't know they are beneficiaries - and it's unlikely that they all would) as things progress? No requirement to do so.
    Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
