Or you could just send one email to each charity once the final amount is known. Why would you give them any updates (especially if they don't know they are beneficiaries - and it's unlikely that they all would) as things progress? No requirement to do so.Choirgrl said:- You could contact the charities collectively ( eg one email sent to all of them) and ask them to have one of them to act as the contact point on behalf of them all. This is pretty common when a number of charities are residuary beneficiaries. It will mean you only have to be in touch with one person, and they can then manage the communication and coordination with the others.
