Help - First Port Property Services

Hi,
I'm in the process of trying to sell my flat, in a property managed by First Port.
During the sales process the purchaser of my flat has raised a lot of queries related to fire certificates and the EWS1 forms etc, the answers FP have provided are brief to say the least, and have proven unsatisfactory to the buyers solicitors.
I’m now at a stage that FP are not answering enquiries from me, my solicitor or the buyers solicitors.

Does anyone have any experience with FP as to how to get them to do what they’ve been paid to do? I’m at the risk of losing the property I’m due to purchase, and no one seems to care.
all help appreciated!

I have no experience with FP, if they have been managing the property for you and haven't had the relevant certificates taken on a yearly basis (Gas Safety) and a EICR every 5 then they are breaching a number of regulations, you could email them to obtain copies of which they should have been doing anyway, if they don't reply it may be worth mentioning you are raising it to the property ombudsmen, they will be a member and it will cause them a whole host of issues if they aren't compliant.0

The OP says they are selling their flat, so I imagine they are leaseholders.
(And FP don't tend to manage rental properties, only leasehold properties.)
Therefore, the OP (and not FP) would be responsible for things like Gas Safety certificates and EICR testing for their flat - but they wouldn't be a legal requirement anyway, unless the OP has been sub-letting their flat.
