Faulty Sennheiser Headphones

I bought some Sennheiser HD450BT headphones directly from them in June 2023. This year they developed faults which included them no longer connecting via bluetooth and they couldn't be reset or switched off and made a buzzing noise. I returned to Sennheiser (had to pay delivery costs) and they sent me new headphones. These have the exact same faults though. Looking online these are very common faults with the HD450BT, I emailed them and hadn't heard back after 2 weeks so sent a chaser email. I'll wait a bit longer but is there a case for a section 75 here if I get nowhere? They were over £100 and bought on a Tesco credit card. On the Tesco website it says if faulty and under warranty to go to the seller/manufacturer, but I will have and not got the issue resolved.

When you sent the second set back what had you discussed with them/what did you say in the cover note?

Who did you buy them from? Direct from Sennheiser? Dont think they do direct sales

S75 is an option however the credit card company are likely to want an engineers report on the matter

Yes it was direct from Sennheiser, I did this instead of Amazon etc because I had Blue Light discount for Sennheiser so worked out slightly cheaper and they have a 2yr warranty. I had to book the first return online and listed all the faults. Replacement have exactly the same faults.I haven't returned these yet as have to pay delivery costs so, as I had an email address to contact this time after they emailed to let me know replacements were dispatched, I let them know this way asking for advice. Had an automatic acknowledgement and nothing since. Searched online and since January this year lots of owners of these headphones have the same issue. Because of this it seems pointless returning again unless for a refund. I've asked them to look into the issue and advise twice over last 3 weeks and they haven't yet replied. If I can't claim then I can't, not the end of the world but I will not be buying Sennheiser products again from anywhere.

Ok, the Sennheiser site I saw just gave a list of retailers when you clicked onto an item to buy.

As the retailer you can advise them that the second pair are also faulty and as such you are exercising your right to reject the goods (assuming thats what you want to do) under the Consumer Rights Act. As the original purchase is over 6 months ago technically the retailer can reduce the refund to reflect the use you've had from them to date. You can also remind them that you are still awaiting the refund of the return postage from the original faulty pair.
