O2 Termination Fee

I recently moved from O2 to three. Phoned O2 regarding the end of my contract and was told I just needed the PAC code and I could move. Took the PAC and smoothly moved over to 3. Received a bill a month later for a £60 termination fee as I had not reached the end of my contract (by about a month). I phoned O2 and explained that I had been advised I was free to move and at no point was a termination fee mentioned. The chap went away and cancelled the fee on my account! Hurrah!

Don't take any termination fees at face value!!
