Well that’s what I thought signing out was for only sign out once your shift is completed and you’ve gone to leave site but from what people state on here they need to physically see you to confirm you there and let you go
I mean what’s the difference between leaving a note saying I’ve gone to me signing out on an official work sheet of paper saying I’ve gone lol£2820/£4000 0% 24 months pay £150 HSBC

You could end up with a situation where a colleague signs someone else out (it does happen) assuming they'd left early (thinking that they're doing a favour) when in reality that someone is elsewhere on site or worse, has had an undiscovered accident.
It's why supervisors physically need to see you or speak to you at the minimum.

so again maybe wrongly to assume as I said in my meeting once I’ve signed out not left early then you know I’ve left
for me the whole thing was brought on by suggesting I’d have to wait until they came down at 6:45 like half an hour pass my time that’s hopefully been addressed I can report to the dsm supervisor and let him know I’ve gone and he will let my supervisor know thus hopefully eliminating the the chances of me waiting unnecessarily past my time
if they want me to stay longer no problem ask in advance but don’t assume i guess is the point I was making again appreciate the help and advice£2820/£4000 0% 24 months pay £150 HSBC
