On Vinted the seller doesn’t arrange postage, Vinted does, this does rather complicate claims as Vinted supply the label and therefore have the contract with the contract.born_again said:
Why are you claiming from Vinted?Lilbigmiss said:Hi ordered something from Vinted.
The item was “delivered” by Yodel… it was dumped at my door when I was out, they didn’t even use my doorbell to see if I was in so I could tell them to leave it in a safe place. When I returned home, the item wasn’t there. Their photo “proof” shows it was abandoned at my door.
Vinted have refused to compensate me for the item not received because “Yodel confirmed delivery”.I can’t make a bank claim because I used my Vinted balance (never do this!)
What can I do?
They are like Ebay, as such are not the seller of the goods.
Even if you had used a card for payment it could/would be rejected on the basis there is proof of delivery.
Sounds like they are simply saying. Been delivered. No refund. Same as would happen with a chargeback.Life in the slow lane0
