Selling mobile phone on eBay - any tips, please?

    Only sold mine because my daughter was collecting older games and sold the phones for the voucher price and she got
    a discount for using vouchers I think.  The phones would have sat there until they stopped charging or as my Galaxy S2
    just failed to turn on again.   Typical the one phone with a paid app stops working!!!

    Assume you can no longer get an app that got removed from the store when the developer stopped supporting it?
    Searched the apk sites and could not find the right version, an update broke it and they just pulled it and vanished.

  • My friend has just sold a very expensive iPad to someone on eBay he only has 1 feedback score and joined last November! I'm very worried she is gonna get scammed! Shes posting it today! I'll keep you updated

    Following the advice here, I cancelled the eBay listing and posted the phone off to CEX. I have yet to hear from them, but in the past I found them very difficult to deal with. 
    No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Just an update to say that I have now heard from CEX that they have paid the agreed price, so it went through smoothly.
