Jeans are dry, and I am packed and away on my trip! 😃
We can have another guessing game if you like 😂 Although I won't be confirming or denying where I am until I get home this time so you'll have to wait until at least Wednesday evening.
So, first clue. Heading north this time, for less than 3 hours. Staying in a YHA hostel 😁
After last week's very non-MSE trip, I have packed two breakfasts and two lots of pasta for my dinners. I have also brought my travel cup and a load of tea bags, and some apples.
I plan on paying an entrance fee for one museum, but otherwise not spending money on 'touristy' things.7 -
Safe travels & have a fabulous time! I guess Borrowdale in the Lake District.

Thank you all 😊
Having a lovely time so far 😊 Had a much-needed cup of tea and a lovely piece of lemon cake in a cafe, and then hopped around the museum 😊 Am now happily checked into the hostel, which seems ominously empty 🤔
My room is in the eaves with only an attic window, so no sitting on the bed looking at the scenery. I have instead made myself a cuppa in my travel mug and am sitting in the garden with my book, idly investigating the options for adventuring while I'm here 😊11 -
@Cheery_Daff - oooo - a spooky converted manse with an attic room - that sounds like fun! i like the thought of sitting in the garden over being inside so I think you lucked out!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
