    Charge them what you like. You won't get anything though.

    Unless you have a contract with them that specifies and agreed amount they will pay you for your time etc. you will be better off using your time more constructively, say, by studying some contract law. Auntie Google can be your friend if necessary.

    "am I allowed to charge them now an hourly rate?"

    Sadly, no.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Don't expect them to pay, but seeing as they're throwing "contracts" at me for financial gain I figured try do the same :-)

    that aside, is the response ok and do I email it to them?

    @ManFromWaySouth, what happened next?
  • @KeithP Sorry I should have updated. I sent in my argument with the LBC template response and at the same time managed to get in touch with someone related to Westminster University who turns out own the land. I complained to them as well. Have never heard back. Assume one of the actions worked but don't actually know. Hopefully this is in the past now.
  • Hi all

    Recieved a letter of claim last week from BW Legal who seem to have taken this PCN over from Gladstone. The letter states "Our client and previously appointed debt recovery firms..."

    I had thought my phone call to the land owner and my reply to Gladstone had killed this. But obviously not.

    My question is, as this is the first communication I have had on the matter for over a year, is there an argument that too much time has passed? What is the timeframe by which they have to action anything?

    And, if not do I now just have to go through all stages as per usual to beat it????

    thanks
