No. Its still here unfortunately. Going to wait and see what natwest come back with. In the meantime I'll post bad reviews of their machine wherever I can.

That is horrendous! I need to look at that FB group so thank you. They phoned me yesterday about a replacement machine and I told them I wanted a refund so let’s see what happens. I also received a response to my formal complaint from Hotpoint saying it was user error

Hotpoint are not fit to manufacture "washing machines", their customer service is shocking. Trying to blame the customer and what is clearly a manufacturing fault. Just too many instances of this particular machine with the same reported problems. Don't give up the fight. On amazon you can leave a review even if you didn't buy from amazon. From my credit card under section 75. Looks like I haven't got a definitive result until 6th June though. My first time using section 75. I'm hoping very are arranging a collection soon though.

That's a chargeback.
S75 refund will come with a letter advising this is a full & final offer. Before you get refunded.
