Just for information of travellers who might be interested parties - just had an email from Virgin Money, there are ongoing negotiations with Nationwide for the sale of VM to Nationwide.No impact on VM customer accounts and cards etc. - at least in the short term presumably ? Indeed, any future implications for cards used by travellers are well down the road.
VM and Nationwide each have credit cards with very similar Ts&Cs for use abroad, the former will obviously be phased out in due course.......my VM Travel Card being one.
Agreed, the FCFS issue, regardless of how it pans out, is another matter entirely.
