I have just logged in. What an absolute mess of a site it has become in the last day or so. Compared to the 1P mobile site it's like chalk and cheese.

Got a new free PAYG SIM yesterday.
Enormous trouble trying to register the SIM and open an account, even following the directions of an Asda Mobile person on the "support" phone number. The website kept throwing me back to the start page.
Eventually managed that, about 30 mins after the "support" phonecall ended.
Now trying in vain to put some  credit on the SIM  -  via their website.
No matter what I click on, on the topup page, it says I'm "not allowed to access this area".

Also, I don't want a bundle/plan/contract.  I was under the impression that Asda Mobile still allow old-fashioned "true" PAYG, where you just top up as and when you need to.  That's  why I got their SIM.
Do they not offer that any more? There doesn't seem to be anywhere to choose that on the topup page.

I'm now reluctant to use the topup card, in case it puts my money on to some bundle I don't want.
I'll try the website again later, in case it's decided to work.

Still not able to top up on website, but an Asda Mobile person on the support phone number did it for me  -  basic PAYG.

Hope they get the website sorted out before I need to do it again!
Or else that the topup card works as it's supposed to.

To be fair I have had this with more than one website. If you are otherwise happy with Asda Mobile, it's not worth moving over (unless of course they are a complete pain when it comes to a reset and ensuring that you can regain access to your account.)
  • Joined ASDA mobile less than a month ago on monthly PAYG and leaving already!
Over 50% of time it tells me my log on credentials are incorrect!
    Incorrect billing on first bill!
Customer service people very friendly but trying to resolve issues that should never have arisen in the first place.
Last person I spoke to was based in Egypt - that is a new one for me!
It is said that there is a limit to everything. This cannot be true as everything has no limit!
