Simply Business Insurance

Hi,
How about if;
1. I have previously cancelled auto renewal (I don't need it, I have other reminders to rely on)
2. I have contacted the insurance company to confirm it has been cancelled.
3. They ignore my instructions and auto renew anyway?
That is the gist of this thread, Simply Business ignoring the clients instructions, the client may well insure elsewhere and then find he has 2 policies because Simply Business auto renewed when they shouldn't have..
It casts doubt on Simply Business as to what other instructions they are ignoring.
It is an avoidable problem that I would like to not have. I have received an apology and a credit to my account, this thread is a heads up if anyone else is in the same situation.
If you like auto renewals, fine...not everyone does though.
