    (I'm currently childless, so unbiased with that. However I'm also realistic in that unless we wish extinction than we should be encouraging people to have children. It's also where future tax & pension payers come from).

    It would also be nice if houses were built correctly to not ever need sound proofing for a house not even directly connected.

     I've also installed laminate flooring and instantly regretted it, The noise from us alone was terrible, but it also boosted sound coming from next door by 50%
