Confusing window quotes.

So I need to get 6 largeish windows replaced (4 approx 3ft x 5ft and 2 narrower either side of bay, all bog standard white UPVC). The installer is the most important thing, a good installer can make cheap windows look great, and a lousy one will make great ones bad.
Were they all quoting for A rated windows? Was one quoting for toughened glass, and the others plain float glass? If it is within 800mm of the floor, it needs to be toughened.
Which profile were they suggesting? Some look better and are a bit more than others.
