Toyota Financial Services reply

Received email today from Toyota saying they would investigate and reply within 28 days of my original request.

Request was sent 7th February, so 28 days is today!!!!!!! Clearly maths is not their area of expertise.

Has anyone else received a reply yet from them?

Suspect they are swamped with requests. Since nothing can move forward until after the FCA investigation concludes, no point getting wound up about this.

Since you complained, the FCA has suspended complaints into DCA until after September.     So, nothing is going to happen any time soon.

  • MT58 - Please could you confirm the email address from Toyota Financial Services that you got a response from or sent to as I have had no acknowledgement of my email yet. It has been over 3 months.

I have tried to request my agreement details from Toyota using the template today and the emails are bouncing back undelivered. I have checked the email address and even copied it to their email from their own website. Any ideas?

Wait until the FCA completes their process and designs a refund process which will mean contacting people affected if they have not registered

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

What do you hope to achieve by requesting agreements?  That isnt necessary.

Ignore that advice.  It is unnecessary and doesn't achieve anything.   It has been frequently criticised on the forums.
