Does VM request hub return if leaving?

This is a daft question I know. But there is a reason 😂.
I'm looking to leave Virgin Media and if I do do they request the hub/modem back? I'm assuming they will. It's just that the hub is in our spare room which nobody can access because of the crap that's just been dumped in there.

It depends on the version, but yes, they usually do (or alternatively they'll bill you for its non-return). .
