I bought the ID mobile deal last November which included a £30 Amazon gift card after 90 days but although I have tried the link that the MSE admin gave me to query where my giftcard is and emailing giftcard direct I am getting nowhere and of course ID mobile say its a 3rd party issue.  It is not such a good deal if I don't get my £30 - can anyone help

  • ML recommended switching to get ID Mobile's £5 offer. I think it was 50GB. I was on a Smarty £6 for... less GB. Sounded good. But many things went wrong or were difficult. When I tried to port my number, it said something went wrong. Last straw. I cancelled (with great difficulty). Thought I'd still be on Smarty. But - duh - I wasn't of course. My service disappeared, called Smarty, bought sim (Argos), got new Smarty account. With extreme difficulty, got PAC no. from ID Mobile. 1 day with no service, 5 days with temp no. Nightmare. Thanks, Martin.
  • My husband and I switched to ID mobile a month ago. When I queried with ID mobile why neither of us had even had an acknowledgment about the voucher deal after signing up, ID mobile said it was a 3rd party issue. Yet the original email from ID mobile was very clear that this was their offer?!  I am hoping it still arrives within the 90 days but if it doesn’t, MSE certainly need to stop putting them at the top of the deal table. How many more people have had similar experience ?

I just signed up with iD with the offer of a £40 gift card but there's nothing in any of the iD documentation about a gift card or opportunity to choose between Amazon and Curry's.  This made me suspicious and seeing that others appear to have problems claiming the offer makes me wonder if maybe I shouldn't just back out now before it all gets too complicated.
