Can I claim taxi fares as expenses to work as a Director ltd company.    Its £45.00 per day x 5 days as there is no train at 05.30 am.

    I don't know about claiming the expenses but have you considered leasing a company car? It would probably cost less than half of that monthly taxi bill.

    Sounds like your normal commute in which case you can but it will be an employee benefit and you'll pay personal taxes on it so you may as well just increase your salary £225 a week

    If it’s your normal commute it won’t be tax deductible, but there’s nothing stopping you from claiming it as an expense.

    What do you mean @pjs493

    It would be tax deductible from the corporation tax but will be BIK and so will attract personal tax. Its no different to a company offering Private Medical Insurance for its employees or any other benefit.
