I usually use Little Direct Debits & Small Direct Debit for my annual £1 direct debits to get cashback switches...

For my TSB switch these 2 direct debits were switched over, but I also set up two new ones with them again once my TSB switch completed, just to make sure I definitely get the TSB cashback. Both new £1 payments have since been debited from my new TSB account so hopefully all will be fine.

Small Direct Debit still seems to be working so my question is can I set up two future direct debit payments just with Small Direct Debit from & would they be classed as two separate direct debits or would it be best to set up a second separate one & if so, who else does annual £1 direct debits?

    Cheers
Two DDs set up to Small Direct Debit have appeared as two separate direct debits for all my bank switches
    Thanks for confirming...

Did you set up both the direct debits through Small Direct Debit at the same time IE straight after one another?

Did both direct debits then have a slightly different reference when they both appeared on the account as two separate direct debits?

There's a comprehensive thread on the subject here, thanks to @Bridlington1https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80045716

Personally I use Moneybox, Plum, PayPal, and Currensea as quick and easy ones to set up. Other "easy" ones are to just shuffle around existing household bill DDs, but this may take time depending on the company and their billing cycles.

What do you do with the money you pay into Currensea? Can you transfer it it again?

You don’t pay money in or top it up. When you make a purchase it’s taken via the direct debit.

I did set them up straight after each other, but I don't think that makes a difference.

For Currensea, I have a small recurring subscription that I pay for using the Currensea debit card. This then triggers a DD a day or two later from the linked current account.

I used gocardless for a few years, then they wrote to say that I could no longer use their service as an individual and not being a buisiness.
