DTP93 said:my defence is weakI have no leg to stand on.Your defence is strong!Hopefully you are using the full defence template on the newbies thread. That being the case - it gives you many legs to stand on! Inadequate POC is one (i.e. Chan) but you will find the others in the template such how this contract is unfair as per customer protection regulations. You were an honest patron of the space and you made a simple mistakeGood luck!

Thanks @Mikeh2001. I've used the template and added the Chan defence in too. Just waiting to hear if there are any other bits I need to change/add before I print, sign, scan, and email it off. This forum has been amazing!0

It's not your case to prove. It's their burden.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent my defence letter and got the automated response from CNBC. Awaiting next step but it feels good to have started this process with all you lovely people guiding me. Thanks.2

Coupon-mad I've received the DCBLegal letter saying they intend to proceed and their included DQ. Just to clear something up, it says in the Template Defence thread "Nothing of interest there. Just file it." Does that mean file it away at home and don't use it, or fill it out and send it back? I assume the former?
From what I can gather I'm waiting for the CCBC to send me a paper copy of a DQ, I fill it out, scan it, and email it back, correct? I just want to be clear I'm understanding the instructions properly.0 -

Doesn't that checklist you are following explain the process clearly?
Are you properly understanding that you must also send a copy of your completed Directions Questionnaire to the Claimant?
We are always looking for ways to improve the guidance offered, so please, if you have a moment, suggest how that checklist could be made clearer.3 -
I got the bit about WHO to send it to, I'm just confirming that I should expect a DQ through the post sent by the CCBC. "Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC" - assume that means wait for it to arrive by post? When it arrives I'm clear on what to do with it/where to send it, thanks.0

What does that mean? Does it mean DCB have not pulled out and I'm going to have to face them in court?
