Have you made a formal complaint to Octopus yet?
Why don't you want to go to the ombudsman if it will cost you nothing?
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Forgive me if I've missed it, but you've still not explained why you wanted to know the ombudsman's fee.
It doesn't seem to be relevant to anything you've done or intend to do?

Out of interest apart from.poor customer service what is your complaint pertaining to?

It's always nice to know where energy suppliers have let themselves down and recently Octopus have been nothing but inconsistent with their sudden rapid growth.
