Courier brings a label machine, prints out labels and attaches to the parcels before they add them to their bag.kalsha said:Recently my daughter asked me to post her Vinted sale via Inpost.
I had 2 options - print the label myself, put it on the parcel and deposit it in the Inpost box.
Second option was to deposit the parcel in the box without any label but just scan the QR code which had been sent via email. How would this have worked? How does the person collecting know what is what when there is nothing on the parcel? I didn't choose this option but I am curious how this would have worked.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. In this case I would always address each package myself before taking it to the drop off point regardless of whether a label will be attached or not. Avoids all confusion.soolin said:The issue with Vinted is that with Yodel they don’t offer a print at home label. They used to but then removed it, probably for cost reasons. If a seller is limited to which post options they can use then they might be stuck with using Yodel. As I mentioned I rarely have Yodel enabled mostly because my local shop often runs out of labels so I’m stuck, unfortunately a lot of buyers do prefer Gödel so I know I am limiting my options.
