(I'm 40 in June next year.)
Last night at the party I had 3 vodka & tonics but stayed away from the buffet table entirely, and said no to cake.
I'm glad the do went well ISOM - it sounds fab.

And the lovely Gok can do anything to me he likes!
How has a gay fella managed to make women everywhere like themselves a bit better? It baffles me!

Ps re Gok I think he just knows how insecure we basically are plus how we look at mags & think that we want to look like an airbrushed supermodel when really we just need to see the unique beauty that we have. I NEVER thought that I would say I could be too skinny but at a size 12 I didnt like it! I lost my boobs and bum was a bit flat so realised that I actually feel more "me" curvacious!! A fabulous feeling & worth every penny of lighterlife to come to that realisation! I now know that I am best suitet to size 14/16 so just want to get back there! Lovely to know I will have some company along the way! Maybe we should arrange a getting to 40 meet?!! Not sure where we all are & it would be lovely to meet up with the regulars! I always feel nervous of general meets as dont know many & am actually sort of shy! People wouldnt know it mind!
I agree re the excercise...definately essential but I think walking & swimming are all I am capable of at the mo & unsure if my cossie will fit...Also need to do some digging!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Well what can i say to that:rotfl: :rotfl:
I can see why you were concerned. They do seem out of proportion to the rest of him.:D
As for wrinkles, i have always had a round face and so far there aint any..just slightly saggier bits under chin...that dreaded i know what age you really are chin...but everything else seems to be there...yep just adjusting boobs back above knicker line:rotfl: :rotfl:
I had a friend who did lighter life as well, in fact she was a consultant for them.....although haven't spoken to her for about a year...so must get back in touch.:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I love gok, although was a bit disappointed with the new show 'Here I have a high street dress, I'll show you how to make it look like a designer one'. He started off with a £75 dres!!!! Now I was expecting a primark or matalan piece. I nearly swallowed my tongue when he cut up a £75 dress.
But the race with the runners all in designer '!!!!!! shoes' had me cracking up.
I dropped a few stone after both kids with the South Beach Diet, worked for me where WW and calories counting didn'y. Let me eat cheese, which was the big attraction!
If I don;t get on tomorrow (which I shouldn't - spend too much time on here and not eough time on the house and work) then Happy Birthday Spud! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
