ASDA Mobile Connection Issues

Hi all,

Ever since I switched to Asda mobile, I am unable to send/receive texts and calls from certain numbers & the phone constantly defaults to wificalls.

Asda are claiming it’s a problem with my phone but a quick google suggests that Asda has connectivity problems to the EE network.

Has anyone else dealt with this and how did you resolve it if so?

I'm having this problem now. I can receive calls from O2 or Vodafone. Not from EE or from landlines. Did you get it resolved? Asda are useless. We're going round in circles.

Have you ported a number from o2 (or an o2 mvno)? It sounds like o2 and Vodafone know that your number has been ported (asda use vodafone) but other networks are trying to send calls and texts to the wrong network.
This can happen especially if the number has been ported more than once (have you used that number on more than two networks?)

same problem for me, My Asda mobile will not connect to an EE mobile belonging to a friend. I can hear the ring tone on my phone, but nothing happens on friends phone. He can successfully call me from the same phone that is EE to Vodafone ( Asda)  EE blame vodafone and vodafone say ask Asda, which does seem to be a waste of time..
Sometimes I get no ring tone but my phone goes straight to his voicemail.
I have trailed these contacts by a real time experiment using our two landlines. My o2 will call his phone, but my Asda ( vodafone) will not. This problem is not a unnique one.
