Switched from Tracker to Agile, meter readings not being transmitted

  • My usage for Monday came through as normal but Tuesday’s is still missing. I too have very recently switched to Agile, but I’ve just put it down to a general delay in the data being collected and assume it’ll come through in it’s own time over the next day or two.
    Moo…

Patience is something that is in short supply in our modern (get it all now) society.

Given that if your meter is not communicating satisfactorily they will bill you standard variable rate rather than Agile rate, you would be unwise to be VERY patient. The savings you make from being on Agile rather than Tracker would be wiped out very quickly if the meter readings aren't getting through. In my scenario, having changed tariff only on Monday, I could be downright foolish to just assume that everything will be OK eventually.

Ah, thought it was just my account that had gone a bit wrong.

Haven't had electric data on Octopus app/website since the 15th Feb, when they switched me from an old tracker tariff to the new one.

Bright app is showing the data exists, so definitely an issue at Octopus, rather than with my meters.

As I'm due a bill for Feb (billed per calendar month), I figured I'd wait until they attempted to do that, and maybe they might give their systems a kick along the way.

My Octopus billing date was yesterday. I've been billed for Tracker gas but not for Go electricity. I'm going to give them a couple of days then email to ask them to investigate.

The electricity charge has just appeared; the pdf bill usually arrives the following day.
