Consumer Act 2015 and bespoke fireplace

Hi, needing expert advice here as I've read the Act etc and think I've got it..but not 100%.
I had a stone fireplace made to measure. I paid by bank transfer, several £'000 as the trader requested.
What arrived was poorly finished, dashed and bashed. Some corners missing, edges with lumps taken out, a side with a filler piece slapped in. Another was missing a slot needed to complete.
I rejected the goods, being of apparent very poor quality. This was within a couple of days of delivery of the Goods - within 30days.
The trader asked for the goods to be returned. This was done. They say they may fix one item and that's it.
They now refuse to give a refund.
The Act says I have a right to a full refund, notified within 30 days, poor quality of goods.
Is this correct? Or being bespoke, do I have to somehow accept shoddy work?

Being bespoke doesn’t affect your rights OP
If you are still within 30 days since original delivery tell them specifically you are “exercising the short term right to reject as the goods do not conform to the contract in terms of satisfactory quality”
Short term right to reject is detailed here:
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/section/22/enacted
and requirements for satisfactory quality, including freedom from minor defects, is detailed here:
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/section/9/enacted
If they won’t agree you are looking at small claims, do you know if they are an LTD or some trader and if LTD are they a very large company or been around for years? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
