ALD AUTOMOTIVE- no response

Hi I’ve used the car finance complaint tool to generate a letter that I’ve posted recorded delivery to the ALD head office. Three weeks later I’ve not had a response. I’ve seen more references in these posts to emailing the complaint. I would t have thought there are benefits of one mode of complaint over another. Should I follow up with an email as well? I’d have to explain this email would be a follow up to my posted letter I guess. Struggling to find an ALD email address but I can call the number on the website. Thanks

I thought ALD (who I'm a current customer) only did leasing finance, which is not part of the current car finance investigation.0

Link to their Complaints policy here:-

Scroll down till you reach the section re. DCA
What finance product did/do you have?1 -

The DCA issue is on hold until end of September with the FCA, unless they didn't use DCA and reject your complaint then wait until then
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
